Herbert Evers, 74, a resident of Greenwich, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011, following an extended battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Herbert was born in Hamburg, Germany on January 14, 1937 to Wilhelm and Anni Evers.
After launching his career in international banking, Herbert immigrated to New York in 1966. Following a successful career of over 40 years, he ultimately retired as the President of HSBC Securities.
Herbert is survived by his beloved wife, May Wan Evers, his sister Heidi Naths, his three children, and five grandchildren.
